Age of Abstract
Andre Courreges was one of the most revolutionary fashion figures, defining the 60's space age movement. His focus on unique silhouettes is a key inspiration to the design process. The design concept is inspired by the Swedish abstract artist Hilma Af Klint. A visionary artist who pioneered the abstract movement years before the famous Piet Mondrian. To Hilma Af Klint, art was an experiment to articulate mystical views of reality. Af Klint's focus on contrasting geometric and organic shapes and her bold and untethered approach to art inspired this collection.
