Lauren Rose Wan is a Canadian-Chinese fashion designer based in New York City whose work blends her experience in costume, bridal and occasion wear to create a unique design perspective. By blending historical Western fashions with traditional Eastern dress, she explores the balance between history, individuality and contrast. Through her designs, Lauren aims to craft pieces that are as beautiful as they are meaningful, weaving personal memories and cultural storytelling into each garment. She believes clothes carry more than wearability; they hold memories, culture, and those who create them. 

 

Lauren Rose is a current student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, with an AAS degree in Fashion Design, and continuing into the Bachelor's program with a specialization in Special Occasion Wear.
