The Belle
A thorough research on gender, pockets and hand-bags, this project takes inspiration from the tie-on pocket that was developed in the 17th Century. The design is an androgynous piece that contrasts feminine and masculine styles, specifically the crinoline skirt and tuxedo from the Victorian Era when tie-on pockets were fashioned.
