The Dove
A bonnet knit from a knitting machine, starting with selecting the threads to designing punch cards from scratch. The design features two jacquards I designed, one of the punchcards has a tulip, and another is a bird sitting on a flower. I laid out these designs in Adobe Illustrator and graphed online. The bonnet consists of four different panels that were linked together by hand. 

Materials:  75% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stelina (terracotta thread) and 55% Cotton, 45% Viscose (cream thread)
